Corewar 42

This project is a replica of the computer game Core War, launched in 1984. We had to build our own assembler that compiles Assembly code into bytecode, and build a VM that lets Core Wars champion fight in an arena.

Corewar is an algorithmic project/game in the curriculum of 1337 (42 Network). The purpose of it is to recode the programming game “Core War”, in which battle programs compete for the control of a virtual computer.

Corewar is a project, to make a popular game which call 'Corewar'. This is a group project: 4 people. Project of UNIT Factory (école 42).

Core War is a 1984 programming game created by D. G. Jones and A. K. Dewdney in which two or more battle programs (called "warriors") compete for control of a virtual computer. These battle programs are written in an abstract assembly language called Redcode.
