본 프로젝트는 FPGA를 이용하여 스테레오 비전 기반의 실시간 3차원 거리 측정 시스템을 설계하고 구현하는 데 목표를 두었다. 자율주행 차량, 드론, 산업용 로봇 팔과 같은 다양한 응용 분야에서 필수적으로 요구되는 정확한 거리 인식 기술을 제공하기 위해 SAD(Sum of Absolute Differences) 및 Census Transform 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 설계된 시스템은 OV7670 카메라 2대와 Basys3 FPGA 보드를 활용하여 실시간으로 입력 영상을 처리하고, 이를 VGA 인터페이스를 통해 RGB 형태로 모니터에 시각적으로 출력하였다.
