Structure your code in separate modules Create an JSON API with Express Write tests for the API, with Mocha, Supertest, Sinon.js and Chai Write Express middleware Deploy the application to the Heroku cloud service Save data into Mongo DB. Implement event notifications with an EventEmitter Use web-sockets to send event to the server with Socket.IO Write a single page web application, SPA, to communicate with the service via REST and web-sockets
