Personality Prediction Semester Project

In this project, the prediction of MBTI personality type is done with the implementation of NLP and ML algorithms.

Personality Prediction based on their personality traits. The project is used to detect the personality (Dependable, Extrovert, Lively, Responsible or Serious) of the person. Personality of the person is compared with previous data based on which the model will detect the personality of the user.

This is a Flask-based personality detection project with features including real-time prediction, Reddit mining chatbot, NER tag identification. Personality detection is important for understanding human behavior, improving communication and relationships, and even enhancing mental health treatment.

Personality prediction is an important application area of affective computing. The process of assessing the personality of users is proposed in this project using questionnaires answered by the user and classifying the personality according to MBTI traits. This project proposed a framework in which some questions are to be answered by the user. Every question has an option in the form of agree or disagree and then the model predicts the personality of the user from the 16 MBTI traits with a description of personality trait based on the questions answered. This project used deep learning approach. Recurrent Neural Network(RNN) along with Long Short-Term Memory units (LSTM) is used to develop this project. Accuracy of the proposed model achieved is 64.5 which could overcome the average accuracy of personality prediction classifier made while previously it was 55% using RNN. This model which makes use of Questionaries’ can be used as a feedback system in academics and organisation for improving the quality of life of students and employees.

Sports Image Classifier is a GitHub repository showcasing a machine learning model trained on sports personality images. The project utilizes Flask to deploy the model through a user-friendly web interface, enabling users to upload images and receive accurate sports image predictions.

Our study focused on using the Big Five personality inventory to predict traits from students' smartphone sensor data collected over 2 months under the Horizon Europe project. Through correlation analyses and machine learning with cross-validation, we showed that predictions are reliable and accurate enough for practical use.
