A control system for a prosthetic hand.
Vedkhajone
BIOT Hand is a prosthetic hand that integrates EMG-based muscle control with IoT-enabled app control using an ESP32 microcontroller. It uses 3D printing for the hand structure and combines real-time signal processing to control servo motors. The project is a mini-project aimed at creating adaptive, remote-controlled bionic hands for enhance mobiliy

The objective of the project is to design and develop a microprocessor-controlled (MCU) prosthetic arm with a remote monitoring web app for below the elbow limb loss. The prosthetic arm and the associated web app should allow the user to access a wider range of mobility and improve their quality of life as well as being lightweight, cost-effective, and simple to use.

In this paper, a prosthetic hand is designed using the solid work to simulate a hand model action. A glove with flex sensors attached is use to control the prosthetic hand. Each flex sensor will be used to control one servo motor. Signals from flex sensors are sent to the Arduino Uno kit to process and control servo motors. The fishing lines are attached to the fingers as tendons to help them move. An Arduino combined with servo SG90 to control the action of the prototype. In the future, it will be applied for remote control in bilateral teleoperation.
