Customer analytics has been one of hottest buzzwords for years. Few years back it was only marketing department’s monopoly carried out with limited volumes of customer data, which was stored in relational databases like Oracle or appliances like Teradata and Netezza. SAS & SPSS were the leaders in providing customer analytics but it was restricted to conducting segmentation of customers who are likely to buy your products or services. In the 90’s came web analytics, it was more popular for page hits, time on sessions, use of cookies for visitors and then using that for customer analytics. By the late 2000s, Facebook, Twitter and all the other socialchannels changed the way people interacted with brands and each other. Businesses needed to have a presence on the major social sites to stay relevant. With the digital age things have changed drastically. Customer issuperman now. Today customer analytics is not only restricted to marketing forchurn and retention but more focus is going on how to improve thecustomer experience and is done by every department of the organization. They are not completely sure of which key metrics to use for profiling customers. Hence creating customer 360 degree view became the foundation for customer analytics. Even analytics has further evolved from descriptive to predictive to prescriptive. Only showing what will happen next is not helping anymore but what actions you need to take is becoming more critical. A chatbot (also known as a talkbot, chatterbot, Bot, IM bot, interactive agent, or Artificial Conversational Entity)The classic historic early chatbots are ELIZA (1966) and PARRY (1972).More recent notable programs include A.L.I.C.E., Jabberwacky and D.U.D.E (Agence Nationale de la Recherche and CNRS 2006). While ELIZA and PARRY were used exclusively to simulate typed conversation, many chatbots now include functional features such as games and web searching abilities. In 1984, a book called The Policeman's Beard is Half Constructed was published, allegedly written by the chatbot Racter (though the program as released would not have been capable of doing so). One pertinent field of AI research is natural language processing. Usually, weak AI fields employ specialized software or programming languages created specifically for the narrow function required. For example, A.L.I.C.E. uses a markup language called AIML, which is specific to its function as a conversational agent, and has since been adopted by various other developers of, so called, Alicebots. Nevertheless, A.L.I.C.E. is still purely based on pattern matching techniques without any reasoning capabilities, the same technique ELIZA was using back in 1966. This is not strong AI, which would require sapience and logical reasoning abilities. Jabberwacky learns new responses and context based on real-time user interactions, rather than being driven from a static database. Some more recent chatbots also combine real-time learning with evolutionary algorithms that optimise their ability to communicate based on each conversation held. Still, there is currently no general purpose conversational artificial intelligence, and some software developers focus on the practical aspect, information retrieval. Chatbot competitions focus on the Turing test or more specific goals. Two such annual contests are the Loebner Prize and The Chatterbox Challenge (offline since 2015, materials can still be found from web archives). According to Forrester (2015), AI will replace 16 percent of American jobs by the end of the decade.Chatbots have been used in applications such as customer service, sales and product education. However, a study conducted by Narrative Science in 2015 found that 80 percent of their respondents believe AI improves worker performance and creates jobs.[citation needed] is a computer program or an artificial intelligence which conducts a conversation via auditory or textual methods. Such programs are often designed to convincingly simulate how a human would behave as a conversational partner, thereby passing the Turing test. Chatbots are typically used in dialog systems for various practical purposes including customer service or information acquisition. Some chatterbots use sophisticated natural language processing systems, but many simpler systems scan for keywords within the input, then pull a reply with the most matching keywords, or the most similar wording pattern, from a database. The term "ChatterBot" was originally coined by Michael Mauldin (creator of the first Verbot, Julia) in 1994 to describe these conversational programs.Today, most chatbots are either accessed via virtual assistants such as Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, via messaging apps such as Facebook Messenger or WeChat, or via individual organizations' apps and websites. BarberQ is a web application that I built in my last year in college. The idea came from a personal friend of mine who is a men's barber. She was thinking of starting up her own business and wanted to provide her clients with a way of booking appointments online. She wanted to make the business unique by providing clients with a more personal and richer experience. To make it unique she came up with the idea of separate boots for haircuts and also providing the client a music choice and beverage choice when making an appointment. So each client would feel like it's a private haircut and this will create trust between the client and barber. I mentioned also that there could be employee system in the web app where she can login and control her business, employees, etc. I used Laravel for the backend and AngularJS for the frontend. The first step of the web application was setting up the backend and building a REST API. During this, I was building requirements and figuring out the structure of the database. The backend is very important because it is holding all the data and we want the data to be structured correctly. Once the backend was done I started working on the frontend by creating a Barbers page where the admin barber can login and create new barbers, update barbers, etc. The next step was creating the appointments page where any barber can login and look at their appointments for the day, week, month. Appointments at the start were displayed in a table but after having a talk I changed it to display them on a calendar which would be easier for the users. Thanks to using Laravel it already provides authentication out of the box so I already had the register and login pages complete. For making an appointment this would be very much the same for the client and the barber. This page is a modal form where the client or barber can select the barber for the appointment, the client for the appointment, music choice, beverage choice, date, etc. The only difference is that the client when filling in the form won't have an option to select a client they will only be able to select the barber of their choice. After the appointment form was done I then spent time on the design and see what was more comfortable for the user. Lastly, I decided to integrate an analytics software called Mixpanel. I thought this could really improve the business and help answer some important questions in the business. I really enjoyed building this site and interacting with her to find out exactly what she wanted and how she wanted it to look. Building this app got me hooked on web development and development in general.

A person named Nahid wants to sell his products online. So he decided to create his own e-commerce website. But creating a full e-commerce is expensive. So he decided to have limited features. (accessible feature should be configured in Spring security ) **page designing is not a big cencern. You can use any frontend template or basic bootstrap template. Following requirements must be completed: Each product must have these four properties: Name, price, profit percentage, product type. By using profit percentage you can calculate the most profitable product. Paginate all the products. Frontend data validation is good. But server side data validation is must. Make sure no invalid data can enter the database. For this use JPA validation. Don’t use your own custom methods. You must design the codebase in such a way that it can be integrated with web services very easily. HINT: Interface for Services, DTO, Mapper.

Our project is a quarantine center management system that prioritizes patient and staff health beyond others. The systems’ main goal is to improve the efficiency and the safety of all functions available in the quarantine center. This system consists of User management, Staff management, Room management, Food and beverage management, medical test details management, Inventory management, Payment management, and a ticketing system. As this project is a web application it’s a good opportunity to maintain the UpToDate conditions about patients and this helps to overcome the traditional manual database systems and this approach is good to maintain everything in a computer-based manner. For this project, quarantine center management system our team members chose a set of functionalities, after discussing to create a java-script based web application to overcome the challenges faced in the manual system. We have decided to use MERN stack as the technology, GitHub for the version control, Firebase for tracking analytic and fixing app crashes, sweet alert for creating java-script pop-up boxes, and postman for checking backend connectivity.
