Online courses have become more prevalent today due to the rapid expansion of internet usage. With the challenges we are facing in light of the COVID-19 epidemic, learning online becomes more demanding in the education market. Online course platforms like Khan Academy, Coursera, DataCamp, Teachable, and Udemy are top choices for customers in the market. Platforms compete with each other for the diversity of courses, price, number of reviews by previous course takers, ratings, subscribers, etc. To win over the market share, platforms ought to maintain high-quality classes and competitive prices. Therefore, it is noteworthy for our eLearning platform, Udemy, to analyze and predict the demand for courses from customers, so that we could strategize to incorporate more popular courses to maximize profits.
