Please Read Me First. This is a set of java file of my final version of electronic artifacts. This is a game to map my experience in Disney World, in Orlando during this spring break. However, because of my limited skills in computer science, I really have no idea how to simplify the process to run the game. Sorry for the inconvenience. In order to run the game, you may need to install JAVA. I hope the following links will help you. http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index-jsp-138363.html#javasejdk http://www.cc.gatech.edu/~simpkins/teaching/gatech/cs1331/guides/install-java.html My main file is called Disney. You can call Disney in console to start the game. However, I failed to putting all the things inside Disney file. Therefore, you may also need to call AdventureLand, MainStreet, and FrontierLand to start other three games. I hope this will help you. Sorry again for the inconvenience. 1. the structure of my project My project only focused on my trip in Magic Kingdom, one part of Disney world in Orlando. It is a game which guides players to choose from six sub-games, which match six sections of the park, Main Street U.S.A, Tomorrowland, Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland and Liberty Square. I chose one of the rides I took in each section which, from my perspective, shows what I found interesting in Disney world. I changed what I experienced in the park into a small computer game. I want to share my experience with others while they play my games. In the following part of self reflection, I explain the background, rules and other things about each game. For convenience of matching them, I use different color to mark different parts. I hope it will help readers a little bit when they are lost in my disordered reflections. 1. the hall of presidents - Liberty Square 2. Festivall parade - Fantasyland (I explain this one in the part of technology skill limitations) 3. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - Frontierland 4.talking with Woody- Adventureland 5. Stitch Store - Tomorrowland 6. lunch time - Main Street USA 3. my reflection of the trip in Disney World from dream to reality When I exited Disney resort, I found a sign along the street welcomed people back to real world. Actually, when I was in Orlando, I couldn't believe as an adult, people can mess up fantasy world in the theme parks and the real world. Nevertheless, I felt I was still in fantasy world, when I dreamed twice that I fought for the key to open the door of future. As is known to all, while sleeping, people always dream about what people thinks in the daytime. Therefore, my dream shows that my mind still stayed in the world with Mickey and Donald. I believe that it is experiencing fantasy world which is the source of the greatest happiness people get from theme park. On the one hand, everybody has pressure in real life especially for adults. They can get out of pressure for a day trip in theme park. They can experience different lives here with cartoon characters. On the other hand, sometimes, it is a really hard task to fulfill some dreams, such as being a princess. However, in Disney world, you can dress up the same as Snow White, waiting for your prince; you can go to space by rocket; you can also travel all over the world in one day and enjoy the food of each country. These are all the magic of theme parks. Therefore, in my game, I learnt the way which Disney design their rides to focus on the background story of the game instead of the game itself. For example, there is a ride called Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which streaks through a haunted gold-mining town aboard a rollicking runaway mine train. The views around the ride were like a gold mining town. There were tools for gold-mining around the railroad and the railroad looked like very old. In order to show riders that it was a haunted gold-mining town, the train always took a sudden turn or speed up quickly to scare people. I decided to name one of my game, which was inspired by this ride, the same name, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Instead of sitting inside the mine train to travel around the haunted town, mine was for users to use keyboard to control the train to travel around the gridding railroad. I place traps inside several parts of gridding to "scare" players, who cannot know where traps are until they get into them. If I know how to use animation, I will show scary pictures when players drive their train to the traps. Unlike the ride in Disney, my players can no longer travel once they encounter a trap because their train may have some problems to keep moving. Also, the main goal in the game is to find the gold. However, as we know, finding gold is really hard. Therefore, players must go to find Aladdin's Wonderful lamp where also places inside the gridding while players cannot see its exact place until they happen to drive inside the part where lamp is. Aladdin's Wonderful lamp will show players the map of the gold and when people get to the gold mine, they win. However, there is another limitation of the game. Haunted town is so dangerous during the night. Therefore, players only have 12 hours to finish the task. Train can drive one square in 20 min. Therefore, train can only move 36 times or they will also be caught by traps. In this game, I want to show audiences I have a background story like rides in Disney World. Players need to find the gold in a haunted gold-mining town. Also, in order to show the relationship with Disney, I use Aladdin's Wonderful Lamp as the guide for the players, which is a well known characters in Disney cartoon. I created another game, called talking with Woody to show the magic power of Disney characters. There are a lot of chances to meet Disney characters in Disney world. On the one hand, travelers, especially small kids, are really excited to meet the characters they watched on TV. I think some kids may believe they take pictures with real Mickey Mouse. On the hand, staffs in Disney who wear the costumes are really tired. It was hot in Orlando last week, but all costumes were very heavy. I was moved by the staffs inside Mickey. They also need to mimic the actions of characters and also need to show kindness and warmness to children. It seems like a really hard job. Therefore, I decide to show this part of Disney in my project as well. I decided to use Woody, a toy all the toys look up to. He is smart, kind and brave like a cowboy should be. He is more than a top, he is friend to everyone enjoying the movie Toy. In order to create an interactive game, I planned to ask players to guide Woody. Players need to call Woody before their instructions. For instance, if players say (actually players are typing) "Woody, please sit down", Woody will sit down (actually, there will be another line on the screen showing the same as players import). However, if players are rude and just say "sit down" without calling Woody, Woody won't act (actually there is just nothing showing up on the screen). great facilities to provide convenience to everyone The facilities to satisfy needs for special groups of people, like small kids or disabled people, are well developed. In the past in China, it seemed impossible for parents to take infants and small kids to travel. The road is not flat or wide enough for strollers or wheelchairs. However, in Disney world, everything seemed like well prepared for everyone to use. There are strollers rentals, and electric conveyance vehicles rentals, which are available to rent throughout Disney world. There are baby care center for mothers to feed, change and nurse little ones. There are locker rentals for storing personal items. There are also hearing disability services which have sign language interpretation to help disabled people to enjoy fantasy world. There are still a lot other convenient services in Disney world. I think the purpose of these services show the pursue of equality among everyone in the world. On the one hand, I am really touched by the availability of these services here. It seems Disney try its best to service everyone who have desire to experience fantasy land. On the other hand, in this way, Disney can attract more travelers in order to make more money in some ways. Also, in Disney, it seems like a tradition that there are stores at the exit of the famous rides. Somebody may think it is just a strategy to make people shopping a lot. However, I think it also provides some convenience that travelers can buy souvenirs where is memorable. For example, when I finished my trip in Escape Stitch, I entered a store with a lot of kinds of Stitch, like Stitch pillow, Stitch key chain and so on. I really want to buy something in order to remind me the wonderful feelings. Therefore, I showed my opinion inside my game as well. I wrote one part is for shopping. The items are different kinds of Stitch. My codes can act as a robot to help customers to shop in the store. There are a lot of restaurants in Disney. Maps of Disney are full of restaurants' name. The greatest things about the food are in Epcot, I experienced different counties in one day. I felt like I was in fast travel in different parts of the world and tasted their special food and snacks while I was on the way. I remembered I was still eating Japanese food when I was in "Mexico". It was a great experience. However, there were always a long waiting lines for the all restaurants. People needed to reserve a table a day before their trip and even they had the reservation, they still needed to wait for a long time. I think Disney may need some good ways to fix the problems of waiting for a long time. I have no idea of changing the situation of restaurants, but I think if there are robots to customers to order in fast food restaurant, it may help a lot. Thus, I have another code to customers to order in Plaza Restaurant. If this kind of robots can work in the real life, people can order by themselves and there will be more staffs available to prepare food. theme park uses interesting ways to teach knowledge of boring topics Theme part is also a great source of learning knowledge, especially for kids. They use Disney characters, interesting shows, or even games to teach useful things. The ways change the boring knowledge to interesting things, which always attract children's attention. The most amazing one was an interactive game in Epcot's Innoventions, called "where's the fire?", which teaches adults and children basic fire safety in a fun and entertaining way. About every five minutes, the players waiting in line are divided into two groups and move into the home's entry. Here, a host will explain the object of the game and lay out the rules. The scenario is this: you are on a mission to discover a number of fire hazards commonly found around the house. To do this, you move from room to room, looking for potential risks. To help in the task, each player is given a special "safely light" to help uncover lurking dangers. The rooms are large projection screens. When a hazard is discovered, all persons in the room must shine their safety light on the same spot. when they do, the hazard is rendered harmless and points are assigned. After playing in the game to find the hazardous things in the house, I learned a lot of safety tips. It is much easier to remember the tips I learned during the game than those I learned on textbook or internet. I believe kids will enjoy the games and learn from them as well. I also tried to show this reflection in my project. Thus, I planned to make a game, called the hall of presidents, which test people's knowledge of presidents in USA. However, I failed to achieve the goal of making it an entertaining game instead of a quiz. My game was still like a quiz. However, because it is the only code which can work well inside my big game. I decide to still hold the game for my projects in order to what my original ideas are. 4. technology skill limitations I feel terribly sorry for my limited skills in CS. It is my first time to learn JAVA this semester. I just begin to learn the core concepts of JAVA this month. When I choose to use java code for this project, I know I will face plentiful limitations and problems. Here I want to express my gratitude to Dr. Johnson, who encouraged me not to give up my ideas. To be honest, I have no idea of how to change a java code into a real game with animations. I know the background story of the game is more important for English course and pictures are the best way to show the background, but I have no idea to show all these things by JAVA coding. Therefore, I choose to use videos for my presentation. In this way, I can show my animation inside the videos while the code clue of my game is still composed by JAVA coding. Also, video gives me a lot of freedom when choose my contents for presentation. I can explain a lot details of my project clearly through videos. For example, I found the festival parade in the magic kingdom was great and I wanted to share the experience in my project by showing the pictures or videos. However, because of the technology limitations, I can only show the videos in my presentations. Also, I mistakenly deleted my videos which I shot on my trip Orlando, I can only share others' parade show...... Also, I want to apologize for the incompleteness of my game. I only dedicated to writing codes for Magic Kingdom, a part of my trip during spring break. Writing codes is a really time consuming task for me. In general, I need to spend more than eight hours to finish one project for my CS assignment this semester. While for this project, the final artifacts are composed of several parts of codes and in the end I need to write the father code in order to take care of my code family for spring break. Due to my limitation in writing codes, I can only finish one part of Disney world. However, I think my code shows all my reflections and perspectives during my trip, even though it looks like it only shows one part of my trip. The terrible mistake I made is that I found out the most of my codes I wrote had significant errors on Tuesday. I went to CS TA office for help, while the errors were still impossible to fix in order to achieve the goal I planned to get. Consequently, my game have to be separated into several parts. Instead of a big game having others as sub-games inside the big one, my final artifacts are composed by several small games. I need to start them one by one. It may cause some inconvenience for players to map their trip in Disney world.

Without further trouble, let's go ahead as well as dive in with action # 1. Action 1: How to onboard a brand-new advertising project Whether you are beginning a new marketing campaign from square one or you are inheriting an existing advertising campaign, it is really important to recognize 2 things. # 1 You require to develop your advertising goals. Now usually we have clients that will certainly claim their objective is to obtain more sales. Yet that is an extremely high-level goal. With that, you'll intend to unbox your goal into something more workable. To break down your objective into actionable parts, we will certainly start to speak about leading as well as lagging indicators. A lagging indicator is normally a result, such as more sales, even more leads, or more web traffic, which are great objectives to have. Yet in order to get to an outcome or a lagging indication, you need a leading indication which is typically an action. Leading signs are points that you can regulate now everyday or each week. And these are the advertising and marketing objectives that you want to develop. As a marketing manager, you need to understand both leading and lagging objectives. # 2 You need to understand your budget. When you onboard an advertising and marketing campaign, you require to understand your campaign budget. If you are unclear about your marketing spending plan or about just how to accurately calculate your marketing budget, we have a thorough video clip that can help you here. Ultimately, the important point below is that you intend to make sure your budget plan matches your objectives. For that reason, if you desire $1 million in sales for instance, then you require to be all set to spend thousands of thousands of dollars. And also honestly, you wish to be as sensible as possible because that's the accountable thing to do as a great online marketer. A lot of people strive for the over night success desire, however the fact is excellent marketing can require time. Now that you have established you require to establish some advertising goals and also a spending plan, after that you can transfer to tip number two, which is "just how to structure your advertising strategy." Action 2: Exactly how to structure your advertising plan The first thing we suggest that you do is to develop an advertising and marketing channel, or really plainly recognize the advertising and marketing channel that already exists. If your business is already generating any type of sales, after that you likely have an advertising and marketing channel whether you understand it or not. It is necessary to recognize which part of the funnel you will certainly need to influence with your advertising project. Understanding the advertising channel will help you pinpoint which stage of the channel demands adjustments. To get a far better understanding of the advertising and marketing channel, let's take a more detailed look at an advertising funnel as well as break down an advertising funnel for B2C (service to customer) as well as B2B (organization to service) firms. At the top of the channel you have the recognition stage. For both B2B or B2C companies this is where potential consumers become aware of your company either by means of search, or an advertisement, or a person referring them to you. The next part of the channel is the interest stage. This is where your capacity clients start to read more concerning your product and services. After that phase of the channel is the consideration stage. This is where your capacity customers actually begin thinking about buying your products. They might begin to review your evaluations or compare your products to others that are on the market. After the consideration stage is the intent phase. This is the stage where the potential client prepares to buy as well as simply needs a little push to complete the transaction. If you're a B2C firm, that implies that a visitor has perhaps added something to their cart. And also if you're a B2B firm, that implies that a site visitor may have asked for a meeting or a live trial. Swiftly after that, the prospective consumer enters the examination stage. This is when the potential consumer is considering the experience they are having as they are having a look at for a B2C company or finishing the contract for a B2B firm. At the really bottom of the channel you have the actual purchase, which is when the potential client becomes a real consumer. As you can see, there is a whole process to getting a client to really end up being a client. On top of that, a channel can continue after the acquisition factor, particularly if you wish to get even more sales from your present consumers. However those phases we pointed out are mosting likely to be the major locations that the majority of marketing managers require to focus on. Nevertheless, if you wish to discover a bit a lot more concerning marketing funnels, check out this blog where we go a lot more thorough with the advertising and marketing channel phases. As you are doing your marketing administration, you wish to begin asking on your own, "Which stage in the advertising and marketing channel does my organization require the most assist with?" You will discover that some business require general understanding prior to they can enhance any other part of their funnel. You may additionally locate that some business have a lot of awareness, yet battle to convert those introduce sales. However, once you recognize where your marketing needs one of the most aid, then you can concentrate there and also start to establish those leading indication objectives. For example, in the recognition stage, you have to focus on getting to a great deal of people. And also if business spending plan you have actually established is reduced, that suggests you will likely require to make use of an organic advertising and marketing approach. Currently let's move on to tip number three, which is just how to establish your advertising and marketing projects Action 3: How to set up your marketing campaigns. The first thing you need to think of below is production. What we indicate by "production" is you need to understand WHO or WHAT you require and WHEN you require it. To figure this out, go back to your leading indications and think about just how you are mosting likely to complete them. Possibly you need a web content writer, a designer, or a marketing spending plan. Or perhaps you require to set aside a couple of hours a day, to hire an agency, or a few other tools to aid you be reliable. The bottom line is, you need to be extremely clear about what deliverables you need as well as when you require them. After manufacturing, we recommend that you track your development. Since doesn't mean you are seeking that delayed indication or that major result that you wish to accomplish. Rather, you'll want to track whether or not your growth is headed in a positive instructions. Ideally, it's very easy to determine a trend line that is going up overtime. For example, if you are publishing on YouTube on a daily basis for six months as well as you are not obtaining any kind of sights whatsoever, then that is an indication that you require to quit and reassess your advertising strategy. One of our company's favorite tools to make use of to track development is Google Analytics. It's very simple to set up on your own as well as ought to take you no time to obtain arrangement and start. As soon as you're set up for success with Google Analytics, you can go on to tip number four, which isn't truly an action however it is a crucial idea to live by. Step 4: Stay with your strategy We have actually stated it before however excellent advertising takes some time. We can't emphasize this sufficient. Unless you have a really large spending plan, we're speaking at the very least $100,000 a year, then you greater than likely will require to focus on one point at a time. That means you wish to put together a really great approach and make sure it functions PRIOR TO you proceed to something that is new and also stylish right now. We suggest you give your technique a minimum of 6 months before you quit. And this is six months of pure quality! That means you are not missing out on due dates and you are putting together an excellent amount of quantity and also top quality work. Bear in mind to still be tracking your outcomes and making sure you're constructing some energy or seeing a positive trend line. Even if the positive trend line is slow, it is still positive. Now allow's go on to our last step. Tip 5: Reporting If you are doing any type of type of advertising and marketing management or if you are an advertising and marketing supervisor on your own, after that at some time you will require to do some reporting. Whether you are reporting to yourself, stakeholders, a supervisor, or a customer, this is an area where you require to successfully interact just how your advertising and marketing is going. When you are connecting, you need to recognize your target market. If you are speaking to an additional advertising and marketing professional or somebody with an advertising background, after that you can possibly utilize more advanced descriptions of your development. However if you are speaking with someone that does not know a lot regarding advertising, after that you want to try to simplify as simply as possible. For instance, you would not begin speaking to a stranger about ROAS, ROI, conversion projects, as well as lead-to-sale conversions since there's a slim chance they would understand what you were discussing. Everything that we cover in this blog are points that you wish to communicate to whoever you are reporting to. To make sure that suggests you want to relate things back to the goals, the budget, the channel, and the positive pattern line. You'll see that poor marketing professionals only care about telling you just how good their negative results are. A bad marketing professional will tell you about all the leads they have actually created but have really little results for conversions. As good marketers, it is our obligation to interact successfully as well as with honesty. So understand your numbers, know your target market, as well as be as clear as possible whether the results are good or bad. Age estimation is the determination of a person’s age based on biometric features. Although age estimation can be accomplished using different biometric traits, our work is focused on facial age estimation that relies on biometric features extracted from a person’s face. In the area of computerized analysis of facial images for recognition, ethnicity classification, gender recognition, etc. the age estimation is a barely explored part. However recently the interest in this subject has significantly increased, due to its practical applications. For example there are age limitations for driving a car, buying alcohol, cigarettes, films, video games, etc. which should be obeyed, but the human skills of age estimation are very limited. So a computer system, which supports the responsible persons, would be helpful. It is well known that the human-computer interaction varies for different age groups, thus a system which automatically adapts its interface to the age of the current user would clear this problem. Face detection: To detect whether an image represent a face i.e. the general structure of face or not. General structure include forehead, eyes, nose, lips, chin etc.

A group assignment which being assigned at the last semester of Diploma, which is an assessment similar to the Final Year Project (FYP) from Degree as the course required us to submit a full progress report every week on our system. The assessment required an abundance of documentation to record down every single element of the system, which is a horrendous task that forced our hands at the beginning of the final semester. In this assignment we chose to do a website that focused on handling meal transaction within the school environment. By implementing the website with the additional skill that I've learned such as AJAX, it made the overall system improved a lot compared to the Reise Web-Portal project which has been done in 2018. The website also equipped with a higher level of SQL knowledge as well and making the server process even more fluent. Bootstrap 4 was also being learned from this assessment as well, and making the overall system looks even more professional.

India GDP Analysis Problem Description - I NITI Aayog: Background NITI Aayog (National Institution for Transforming India) is a policy think tank of the Government of India; it provides strategic inputs to the central and the state governments to achieve various development goals. In the past, NITI Aayog has played an important role in initiatives such as Digital India, Atal Innovation Mission and various agricultural reforms and have designed various policies in education, skill development, water management, healthcare, etc. NITI Aayog was established to replace the Planning Commission of India, which used to follow a top-down model for policy making, i.e., it typically designed policies at the central level (such as the 5-year plans). On the other hand, NITI Aayog designs policies specific to the different states or segments of the economy. Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley, made the following observation on the necessity of creating NITI Aayog, "The 65-year-old Planning Commission had become a redundant organisation. It was relevant in a command economy structure, but not any longer. India is a diversified country and its states are in various phases of economic development along with their own strengths and weaknesses. In this context, a ‘one size fits all’ approach to economic planning is obsolete...". Project Brief We are working as the chief data scientist at NITI Aayog, reporting to the CEO. The CEO has initiated a project wherein the NITI Aayog will provide top-level recommendations to the Chief Ministers (CMs) of various states, which will help them prioritise areas of development for their respective states. Since different states are in different phases of development, the recommendations should be specific to the states. The overall goal of this project is to help the CMs focus on areas that will foster economic development for their respective states. Since the most common measure of economic development is the GDP, we will analyse the GDP of the various states of India and suggest ways to improve it. Understanding GDP Gross domestic product (GDP) at current prices is the GDP at the market value of goods and services produced in a country during a year. In other words, GDP measures the 'monetary value of final goods and services produced by a country/state in a given period of time'. GDP can be broadly divided into goods and services produced by three sectors: the primary sector (agriculture), the secondary sector (industry), and the tertiary sector (services). It is also known as nominal GDP. More technically, (real) GDP takes into account the price change that may have occurred due to inflation. This means that the real GDP is nominal GDP adjusted for inflation. We will use the nominal GDP for this exercise. Also, we will consider the financial year 2015-16 as the base year, as most of the data required for this exercise is available for the aforementioned period. Per Capita GDP and Income Total GDP divided by the population gives the per capita GDP, which roughly measures the average value of goods and services produced per person. The per capita income is closely related to the per capita GDP (though they are not the same). In general, the per capita income increases when the per capita GDP increases, and vice-versa. For instance, in the financial year 2015-16, the per capita income of India was ₹93,293, whereas the per capita GDP of India was $1717, which roughly amounts to ₹1,11,605. Problem Description - II Data The data is sourced from https://data.gov.in/, an Open Government Data (OGD) platform of India. The download instructions are provided in the next segment. The data for GDP analysis of the Indian states is divided into two parts: Data I-A: This dataset consists of the GSDP (Gross State Domestic Product) data for the states and union territories. Data I-B: This dataset contains the distribution of GSDP among three sectors: the primary sector (agriculture), the secondary sector (industry) and the tertiary sector (services) along with taxes and subsidies. There is separate dataset for each of the states. We are expected to read the dataset for the available states and join these (in Python) if needed. There are two parts to this project. In the first part, we will analyse and compare the GDPs of various Indian states (both total and per capita). The GDP of a state is referred to as the GSDP (Gross State Domestic Product). Then, we will divide the states into four categories based on the GDP per capita, and for each of these four categories, we will analyse the sectors that contribute the most to the GDP (such as agriculture, real estate, manufacturing, etc.). In the second part, we will analyse whether GDP per capita is related to dropout rates in schools and colleges. Part-I: GDP Analysis of the Indian States For each of the following steps of analysis, choose an appropriate type of plot for comparing the data. Also, ensure that the plots are in increasing or decreasing order for better comparison. For example, if we make a bar plot to compare the GDPs of the states, ensure that the bars are in either increasing or decreasing order of GDP. Part I-A: For the analysis below, use the Data I-A. First, we need to load the data in Python properly and then clean it. This also involves the treatment of missing values, we can choose to drop the row or column as well. Remember this will affect our next analysis and results drastically. Plot a graph for rows " % Growth over previous year" for all the states (not union territories) whose data is available, use as much data as possible for this exercise. Use the best fit line to represent the growth for each state. Draw a similar line graph for the nation as well. How will we compare the growth rates of any two states? Which states have been growing consistently fast, and which ones have been struggling? Rank top 3 fastest and 3 slowest-growing states. What is the Nation's growth rate? What has been the growth rate of my home state, and how does it compare to the national growth rate? Plot the total GDP of the states for the year 2015-16: Which Plot will we use for this? Why? (Remeber to plot the graph in a way such as it is easier to read and compare) Identify the top 5 and the bottom 5 states based on total GDP. What insights can we draw from this graph? What states are performing poorly? (Remember: this will not be solely based on total GDP) Part I-B: For the analysis below, use Data I-B. We can also use Data I-B along with Data I-A if required. Also, perform the analysis only for the duration 2014-15. Filter out the union territories (Delhi, Chandigarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, etc.) for further analysis, as they are governed directly by the central, not state governments. Plot the GDP per capita for all the states. Identify the top 5 and the bottom 5 states based on the GDP per capita. Find the ratio of the highest per capita GDP to the lowest per capita GDP. Plot the percentage contribution of the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors as a percentage of the total GDP for all the states. Which plot will we use here? Why? Why is (Primary + Secondary + Tertiary) not equal to total GDP? Can we draw any insight from this? Find correlation of percentile of the state (% of states with lower per capita GDP) and %contribution of Primary sector to total GDP. Categorise the states into four groups based on the GDP per capita (C1, C2, C3, C4, where C1 would have the highest per capita GDP and C4, the lowest). The quantile values are (0.20,0.5, 0.85, 1), i.e., the states lying between the 85th and the 100th percentile are in C1; those between the 50th and the 85th percentiles are in C2, and so on. Note: Categorisation into four groups will simplify the subsequent analysis, as otherwise, comparing the data of all the states would become quite exhaustive. For each category (C1, C2, C3, C4): Find the top 3/4/5 sub-sectors (such as agriculture, forestry and fishing, crops, manufacturing etc., not primary, secondary and tertiary) that contribute to approximately 80% of the GSDP of each category. Note-I: The nomenclature for this project is as follows: primary, secondary and tertiary are named 'sectors', while agriculture, manufacturing etc. are named 'sub-sectors'. Note-II: If the top 3 sub-sectors contribute to, say, 79% of the GDP of some category, we can report "These top 3 sub-sectors contribute to approximately 80% of the GDP". This is to simplify the analysis and make the results consumable. (Remember, the CEO has to present the report to the CMs, and CMs have limited time; so, the analysis needs to be sharp and concise.) Plot the contribution of the sub-sectors as a percentage of the GSDP of each category. Now that we have summarised the data in the form of plots, tables, etc., try to draw non-obvious insights from it. Think about questions such as: How does the GDP distribution of the top states (C1) differ from the others? Which sub-sectors seem to be correlated with high GDP? Which sub-sectors do the various categories need to focus on? Ask other such relevant questions, which we think are important, and note we insights for category separately. More insights are welcome and will be awarded accordingly. Finally, provide at least two recommendations for each category to improve the per capita GDP. Part-II: GDP and Education Dropout Rates In Part-I, we would have noticed that (one) way to increase per capita GDP is by shifting the distribution of GDP towards the secondary and tertiary sectors, i.e., the manufacturing and services industries. But these industries can thrive only when there is an availability of educated and skilled labour. In this part of the analysis, we will investigate whether there is any relationship between per capita GDP with dropout rates in education. Data Data II: This section will require the dropout rate dataset apart from the dataset that we used in Part-1 of the case study. Download instructions are provided in the next segment. Part-II: GDP and Education Analyse if there is any correlation of GDP per capita with dropout rates in education (primary, upper primary and secondary) for the year 2014-2015 for each state. Choose an appropriate plot to conduct this analysis. Is there any correlation between dropout rate and %contribution of each sector (Primary, Secondary and Tertiary) to the total GDP? We have the total population of each state from the data in part I. Is there any correlation between dropout rates and population? What is the expected trend and what is the observation? Write down the key insights we draw from this data: Form at least one reasonable hypothesis for the observations from the data About GDP analysis for India in the year for 2015-16 and recommendation for the individual states for increasing the GDP by focusing on various factor. Autism means that a person develops in a different way and has problems with communication and interaction with other people, as well as unusual behaviors such as repetitive motions or enthusiasm for very narrowly specialized interests. However, this is only a clinical definition, and this is not the most important of what you need to know about autism. So ... what does an ordinary person need to know about autism? There are a lot of misconceptions, important facts that people do not even know about, and several universal truths that are always ignored when it comes to disability. So, let's list them. 1.Autism is diverse. Very, very diverse. Ever heard the saying: "If you know one autistic person, do you know ... only one autistic person"? It's true. We like completely different things, we behave differently, we have different talents, different interests and different skills. Gather a group of autistic people and look at them. You will find that these people are as much different from each other as neurotypical people. Perhaps, autism differ from each other even more. Every autistic person is individual, and you can not make any assumptions about him only on the basis of his diagnosis, except as "Probably this person has problems with communication and social interaction." And, you see, this is a very general statement. 2. Autism does not define a person's personality ... but it is still a fundamental part of our being. Someone kindly reminded me of the missed second item on this list, so I just added it! I always miss something ... especially if it's about something like "If it's written that it's about a list of ten items, then there should be ten points." The thing is that it's difficult for me to perceive the whole picture, and instead I constantly focus on details like "Did I make a spelling mistake?" If I no longer had a pervasive developmental disorder, I would have been diagnosed with impaired attention like ADHD - in my head I have not only autism. In fact, autism is just one of many phenomena, and most of them are not diagnoses. I am an autistic, but I have huge problems with organizing my actions and switching to a new task, which usually happens in people with ADHD. I am well read, but there are serious problems with arithmetic, but not with the score. I'm altruist, introvert, I have my own opinion on any occasion, and I adhere to moderate views in politics. I'm a Christian, a student, a scientist ... How much everything comes in identity! However, autism is a little coloring, as if you are looking at something through the colored glass. So if you think that I would be the same person without my autism, then you are unequivocally mistaken! Because how can you remain the same person, if your mind starts to think differently, learn differently, and you will have a completely different view of the world? Autism is not just an additive. This is the very basis for the development of the personality of an autistic person. I have only one brain, and "autism" is just a label that describes the features of the work of this brain. 3.Having autism does not make your life meaningless. Disability generally does not mean that your life is meaningless, and in this respect, autism is not different from any other disability. Constraints in communication and social interaction, coupled with learning difficulties and sensory problems that are inherent in us, do not mean that the life of an autistic person is worse than the life of a neurotypical person. Sometimes people assume that if you have a disability, then your life is by definition worse, but I think they are just too inclined to look at everything from their own point of view. People who have been neurotic in their entire lives begin to think about what they would feel if they suddenly lost their skills ... while in reality one must imagine that they never had these skills, or that they have developed other skills and a different view of the world. Disability itself is a neutral fact, not a tragedy. With respect to autism, tragedy is not autism itself, but related prejudices. It does not matter what restrictions a person has, autism does not prevent him from being part of his family, part of his community and a person whose life has an intrinsic value. 4.Autistic people are capable of love to the same extent as any other people. Love for other people does not depend on the ability to speak fluently, understand the expression of strangers or remember that when you try to make friends with someone, it's better not to talk about wild cats for an hour and a half without stopping. Perhaps we do not know how to copy the emotions of other people, but we are capable of the same compassion as all the others. We just express it differently. Neurotics are usually trying to express sympathy, autistics (at least those that look like me, as I said - we are very different) are trying to fix a problem that initially upset the person. I see no reason to think that one approach is better than another ... Oh, and one thing: although I am an asexual, among the people of the spectrum of autism I am in the minority. Autistic adults, with any form of autism, can fall in love, marry and have a family. A few of my autistic friends are married or go out on dates. 5.The presence of autism does not prevent a person from learning. Actually does not interfere. We grow, and we learn throughout life, just like any other person. Sometimes I hear people say that their autistic children "recovered". However, in fact, they only describe how their children grow, develop and learn in the right environment. They actually devalue the efforts and achievements of their children, writing off them for the last drug or other treatment. I have come a long way from a two-year-old girl, who was crying all day and night, constantly running around in circles and making violent hysterics from the touch of wool. Now I'm in college and I almost achieved independence. (I, true, still can not bear woolen cloth). In a good environment, with good teachers, training will be almost inevitable. This is the focus of research on autism: how best to teach us what we need to know about this world that is not fit for us. 6.The origin of autism is almost entirely genetic. The hereditary component of autism is about 90%, which means that almost every case of autism can be reduced to a certain combination of genes, be it the "botanist genes" that were transmitted from your parents, or they are new mutations that have arisen only in your generation. Autism has nothing to do with the vaccinations you have been given, and it has nothing to do with what you eat. Ironically, despite the arguments of the opponents of vaccines, the only proven non-genetic cause of autism is the congenital rubella syndrome that occurs when a pregnant woman (usually not vaccinated) gets rubella. People, do all the necessary vaccinations. They save lives - millions of people who die every year from diseases that could be prevented by vaccines would agree. 7.Autistic people are not sociopaths. I know, probably, you do not think so, but still it should be repeated again. "Autism" is often associated with the image of a person who absolutely does not care about the existence of other people, while in reality, it's just a communication problem. We do not care about other people. Moreover, I know several autists who are so panicky about accidentally saying "something is wrong" and touching other people's feelings that as a result they are constantly shy and nervous. Even nonverbal autistic children show the same attachment to their parents, which is not autistic. In reality, autistic adults commit crimes much less often than neurotype’s. (However, I do not think that this is due to our innate goodness.) In the end, it is very often a crime - it is social activity). 8.There is no "epidemic of autism". In other words: the number of people diagnosed with autism is increasing, but the total number of autistic people remains the same. Studies conducted among adults show that the level of autism among them is the same as among children. With what are all these new cases related? Simply with the fact that now diagnoses are also made in milder forms of autism, including due to the recognition that Asperger syndrome is autism without speech delay (previously the diagnosis was not raised if you could speak). In addition, they began to include people with mental retardation (as it turned out, in addition to mental retardation, they very often have autism). As a result, the number of diagnoses "mental retardation" decreased, and the number of diagnoses "autism", respectively, increased. Nevertheless, rhetoric about the "autism epidemic" had a positive effect: thanks to it we learned about the real prevalence of autism, and we know that it is not necessarily heavy, and we know exactly how it manifests, which allows children to receive the necessary support from an early age. 9.Autistic people can be happy without healing. And we are not talking about some second-rate happiness on the principle of "better something than nothing." Most neurotics (if they are not artists or children) will never notice the beauty in arrangement of cracks in the asphalt pavement, or how beautifully the colors are played on the spilled gasoline after the rain. They probably will never know what it's like to give up entirely to a particular topic and study everything about it as much as possible. They will never know the beauty of the facts that were brought into a certain system. They probably will never know what it's like to wave your hands with happiness, or what it's like to forget about everything because of the sensation of the cat's fur. In the life of autistics, there are wonderful aspects, as, most likely, they are in the life of neurotype’s. No, understand me correctly: this is a difficult life. The world is not adapted to the existence of autistic people, and autistic people and their families face strangely every day prejudices. However, happiness in autism is not reduced to "courage" or "overcoming". It's just happiness. You do not have to be normal to be happy. 1o. Autistic people want to be a part of this world. We really want this ... just on our own terms. We want to be accepted. We want to go to school. We want to work. We want to be listened to and heard. We have hopes and dreams of our future and the future of this world. We want to contribute. Many of us want to have a family. We differ from the norm, but it is diversity that makes this world stronger, not weaker. The more images of thinking, the more ways will be found to solve a particular problem. The diversity of society means that if a problem arises, we will have different minds at hand, and one of them will find a solution.

Amazon announced a new device called the Glow during its fall product launch event, a $250 video chatting gadget that allows children to virtually interact with loved ones by playing games and reading books together. Although the company has been selling the Echo Dot Kids Edition for years, it's rare for Amazon to develop an entirely new device designed specifically for children. While it's new for Amazon, the general concept behind Glow might sound familiar -- especially if you've ever used the storytelling app Caribu or the Osmo brand of educational tablet accessories. That's because although they're different products, they share a lot of underlying qualities with Amazon's Glow. Caribu is designed to help kids play games and read stories with relatives remotely through an interactive video chatting platform, and Osmo is all about incorporating real-world game pieces into educational games you can play on a tablet. Read more: Amazon unwraps privacy features as it tries to roll deeper into your home To understand the similarities, it's important to know how the Glow works. Amazon Glow is an Alexa-free video chatting device that consists of an 8-inch upright display, a camera with a built-in shutter and a projector. The device isn't available to the public yet and can only be obtained via invitation since it's part of the company's Day 1 Editions program. The basic premise behind the Glow is simple. Children can video chat with relatives and loved ones on the device's screen, while a projector conjures up a virtual play area for games and activities that's displayed on a silicone mat in front of them. The person on the other end of the call can participate in that game or puzzle on their tablet through the Glow app.The activities are also designed to combine real-world elements with digital ones. For example, in a demo video on Amazon's website, kids can be seen arranging physical game tiles, drawing pictures with their finger on the play mat and moving digital puzzle pieces on the mat -- all while a grandparent or aunt on the other end cheers them on. The device will come with a one-year subscription to Amazon Kids Plus and will feature content from Disney, Sesame Street, Barbie, Pixar and Hot Wheels. The Caribu app is built on a similar concept, but with a different execution: It's an app with the same goal, not a purpose-built device. Caribu is meant to make the video calling experience more interactive by enabling children and loved ones to share experiences like bedtime stories, coloring sheets and games virtually. It's essentially like a Zoom for kids that's available on iOS, Android and the web, but with built-in activities. The app has been around since 2016, but grew in popularity throughout the pandemic as relatives looked for ways to connect with little ones they couldn't see in person. Maxeme Tuchman, Caribu's CEO and co-founder, doesn't seem bothered by Amazon's entry into the space. "What I can say is that Caribu obviously identified a problem in the market, started a trend, and now everyone wants in," Tuchman said in a statement.Osmo, on the other hand, is more about turning your tablet into an interactive device for educational games and activities rather than social interaction. Osmo's system involves slotting a compatible tablet into a base that enables it to stand upright in portrait mode. You would then place a red reflector piece over the device's camera. This reflector enables the tablet to detect physical game pieces so that these real-world elements can be incorporated into the game on screen. Games designed for the Osmo cover a range of skills, including coding, literacy, critical thinking, drawing, math and science. Certain Osmo bundles are priced similarly to the Amazon Glow, but the starter kit -- which includes the base, reflector, and four games aimed at children ages 3 to 5 -- costs just $79. Read more: Always Home Cam: Amazon's flying Ring drone might be tricky to get your hands on Like Caribu, Osmo isn't an apples-to-apples competitor to Amazon Glow. Amazon seems focused on the technology while it relies on big-name partners for most of the content, unlike Osmo. And Osmo is centered on solo playtime and learning, rather than shared experiences. There are also some fundamental differences in how the products work. Osmo doesn't project images onto a nearby surface like the Glow. Instead it uses the reflector to send an image of game pieces or a child's drawing to the tablet's camera so it can be incorporated into the game. Amazon also specifically mentions that the Glow itself isn't a toy, despite its similarity to products that are considered to be part of the toy market.Still, the core appeal of both products comes down to combining an on-screen experience with real-world play elements. As is the case with Caribu, the concepts are just carried out in different ways. Similar to Tuchman, Osmo co-creator Pramod Sharma didn't express concern about increased competition from Amazon. "We're excited to see Amazon join the play movement we started with Osmo over seven years ago," Sharma said via email. Amazon's device also isn't the first experimental computing device to rely on a projector as a central part of the interaction. You might remember HP's Sprout Windows 8 all-in-one PC from 2014, which projected a second screen onto a 20-inch touch sensitive mat situated in front of the computer for drawing and other creative work. It's easy to understand why Amazon would develop a product like the Glow at a time like this. The pandemic has normalized remote learning and fueled interest in connecting with family members virtually. At the same time, technology is playing a bigger role in the global market for educational toys, which is expected to grow from $19.2 billion in 2020 to $31.62 billion by 2026, according to Arziton Advisory and Intelligence. Toys that use augmented reality to overlay digital graphics on real-world objects will likely boost the demand for learning toys year-over-year, says the report.Tech companies are also increasingly tailoring their products to appeal to younger audiences. Facebook offers a version of its Messenger chat app for children, and the company has been building a version of Instagram for kids, too. (Those plans were recently put on hold following backlash over the concerns that come with exposing younger age groups to social media.) Apple launched parental controls for the iPhone in 2019 and released Swift Playgrounds in 2016, a game aimed at teaching children how to code in Apple's Swift programming language. It's too soon to know whether the Amazon Glow will be a success. Amazon's Day 1 Editions program is meant to provide access to new products before they're ready for prime time, meaning they may not be ready for widespread release. Not all products in the program make it past the Day 1 Editions phase either. The Echo Loop, an Alexa-powered smart ring, never graduated from Day 1 Editions to become a real product, for example. We'll have to wait until we've tried Amazon's new child-friendly gadget to know how it stacks up against existing products.

IELTS The IELTS is about two hours and forty five mins long. There are two versions of the test: Academic or General Training – depending on whether you want to study, work, or migrate overseas. IELTS test consists of four sub-tests: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. All students take the same listening and speaking tests but there are different reading and writing tests for the Academic and General modules. IELTS Academic IELTS Academic measures English language proficiency needed for an academic, higher learning environment. The tasks and texts are accessible to anyone, irrespective of your subject focus. The Academic format is, broadly speaking, for those who want to study or train in a university that teaches in English at undergraduate or postgraduate level, or institutions of higher and further education. Many professions (e.g. medical, nursing, accounting, engineering) also require an Academic test result for registration purposes in many countries IELTS General IELTS General Training measures English language proficiency in a practical, everyday context. The tasks and texts reflect both workplace and social situations. The General Training version of the test is typically for those who are going to English-speaking countries to do secondary education, work experience or training programs. This version of the test is also often a visa requirement if you are planning to migrate to English speaking countries including Australia, the UK, Canada and New Zealand. IELTS TEST The scores are on a scale of 1 to 9 and are valid for two years. The test is offered 48 times a year, usually on Saturdays or Thursdays. The IELTS measures your ability to use and understand English at the university level and evaluates how well you combine your listening, reading, speaking and writing skills to perform academic tasks. Action 4: Stay with your strategy We have actually stated it before however excellent advertising takes some time. Action 5: Reporting If you are doing any type of type of advertising and marketing management or if you are an advertising and marketing supervisor on your own, after that at some time you will require to do some reporting. This group is dedicated to creating a search engine and web browser with all profits going to animal rights/welfare charities. Instead of giving our information to massive unethical companies who then sell it for vast profits, we will sell our own information to animal friendly companies. The money received will then be donated to charities and organisations focused on animal welfare/rights. The decision making will be done by all citizens of the group on a democratic basis of 1 citizen = 1 vote. Anyone who sets the search engine as their default engine for a 6 month period will become a citizen. Money will then be allocated to the areas that did the most searches and therefore raised the most money. Citizens in these areas will then be able to meet at the local level and discuss how they want the money to be spent. We need people who can help with the programming, web design, video production/editing, marketing, translation, legalities etc. If you have any of these skills, please join the group. Or, if you would like to be part of this group and support it, please help out in any way you can. This can definitely be done and it will definitely help, so let's get it done! http://www.unitaz.org/

As well as, setting up of a skill training program focusing on different vocational skills training. The Garowe VTC was strongly developed and equipped to such a level that it is one of its benchmark for other Vocal Training Centers. From the plan of GVTC as at the time of equipped and constructed it was to develop into a higher level of technical learning institution to develop and expand its skill program services to the region and toempower growing needs of the community to create skilled man power, and encourage employability opportunities. It has mostly been project based learning institution. The projects from the NGOs and other funding bodies may not be sufficient to run the institution all through the years. Project Description This is a major assessment component that expects students to join a team and carry out a project consisting of different tasks assessable at the individual as well as group levels. The project tasks purport to design and prototype a software system by following security by design paradigm and principles. The project aims to provide the students with an opportunity demonstrate the knowledge, understanding, and skills gained from the material covered in this course. The project’s tasks will ony be accepted if the following “gold standard” security elements are incorporated in the design and implementation of the system: Authentication. The system must authenticate its users and/or allow its users to authenticate the system. Users may include human users as well as programs executing on machines. You must implement reasonable means of authentication, which may include passwords, user registration, secrets generation, key distribution, etc. Authorization. The system must enforce some authorization policy to control some subset of its operation. Implement an access control mechanism that is appropriate and natural for your system’s functionality and expected scale. Audit. The system must provide infrastructure for audit or other means of establishing accountability for actions. Confidentiality and Integrity. The system must involve information that resides in long-term storage or that is transmitted over a network. The system’s mission must require that information to be kept secret and/or be protected from corruption. The list of the essential security elements above defines only a subset of the security functionality your project will be implemented. This list is not meant to be exhaustive; you are encouraged to explore the other aspects of secure software engineering. The project is specified below. Electronic Senate Voting System The final group project description may be familiar to some of the students who have already taken Engineering Software as Services I, but this course shifts the focus to non-trivial security functionality and software reliability. The project is to implement a web-based voting system for the Australian Senate. This top-secret AEC project will allow a state's AEC Commissioner's delegate(s) to enter the details of the candidates, including their order within their party grouping. It will allow individual voters to enter their votes either above the line, below the line but not both. It will correctly calculate the order in which senators should be elected. It will also allow the state's AEC Commissioner's delegate(s) to manually exclude candidates if a recount should be ordered by the High Court sitting as the Court of Disputed Returns.
