God number is 20 for a 3X3X3 cube. http://www.cube20.org/ God number is 12 for a 2X2X2 cube. in another word, any starting position can be solved in 12-turns. For a 2X2X2 cube, the shortest path to solve the cube from any starting position is: 1. the starting position is hashed to a number; 2. an exhaustive search of 6-turns hash table from both starting position and end position must find the solution (the number meets each other). Playable Rubiks Cube Game with Graphical User Interface. Has a heuristic-based solving capability. It's our school work during late 90s made using Borland Turbo C on a computer with 486 DX2-80 CPU (imagine no heatsink) and floppy disks. There are no guides available yet via internet, we just learned fom paper-based books. This video includes instructions on running it within Turbo C in Windows 10 using DOSBox Emulator. This project concentrates on solving a unsolved Rubik's Cube. The program contains OpenCV libraries and when executed will show a live video from the webcam. When a unsolved Rubik's cube is shown in front of a camera, it will scan the faces of the Rubik's cube. These instructions will be displayed along with the live video in a text format. After a successful scan the program will start to give the instructions on the moves to be made using Augmented arrow on the cube in the live video. When these moves are followed we get the end product of a solved Rubik's Cube within 30 moves.
