Welcome to my comprehensive course on python programming and ethical hacking. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE 34 pale yellow postcards, worn out color pens and an address book : unfurled on the balcony, with me and my grandfather amidst the little chaos. It was one of Thatha’s(native reference to grandfather) grand traditions to send out personally inscribed messages to the entire family for every New year’s and Diwali(a Hindu festival with lights).As a young girl I wondered if there was a way to send out good thoughts and wishes without him having to worry if his cards would reach on time and me about my wiped out stationery. This was the time when the Computers and the Internet was still in its nascent stage in India. We bought our first computer when I was twelve years of old. The curiosity for computer and its science led to an obvious choice of major in high school and undergrad. Although the real defining moment was in the second year of college when I was asked to join a team of seniors for a coding competition. We beat twenty-three teams from all over the state for a spot in the finals. I still remember the sense of euphoria I felt when we I executed my task and coding became my drug of choice. There was no turning back from that point. I participated in various programming contests after that. Completed various online courses on Python, Java, Algorithms, Website development, Video game development etc.. I especially enjoyed creating pet projects in Python for my friends and family. In my free time I contribute to open source projects on Github mostly in Java. Presented a paper in a few local conferences on Sorting of Data using Hadoop. For my final year project created an application for “Privacy Preserved Ride Sharing for Autonomous Vehicles in BigData Era”. The idea revolves around the concept of allowing people with cars to share their ride with others who use the same route of commute saving fuel and optimizing the cost of travel significantly. Issues like safety, cost efficiency and time management was addressed in the project. During my final semester I was provided with a prodigious opportunity to intern at BNY Mellon, Chennai. There I learnt the importance of time management, risk management, leadership skills, working as a team, and communication skills. Being trained by experienced professionals. After the internship, I was provided with a full time job offer in the same company as an entry level application developer. Was a part of the Global Market Technologies team, Phoenix, where we manage the technical aspects of banking transactions across Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America. I developed technical skills like Spring, angular and Java advanced and non-technical skills like collaborating with other developers from different parts of the world and successfully navigating through a crisis. Prior to that in high school I was a topper maintaining 95% consistently, scoring a centum in my mathematics paper in class X board exams and topped the computer science paper in high school. Trained professionally in classical dance and music and gave performances all over the country. The most notable one being the performance for the Chief Minister of the state. My first computer instigated my interest in technologies, high school and college provided me first-hand knowledge and experience on it, and corporate gave me an insight on how a company works. But there is an undying urge in me to give something back to the world that has changed the course of life of billions of people and the only way through which I know for sure can create a huge impact is through computer technology. My passion is new age computer programming languages that helps create optimized and high performance applications. In the near future I see myself starting my own company that outsources high end applications. The University of British Columbia has been at the forefront of education giving birth to many world leaders. With the highly renowned faculty, quality infrastructure, especially the Internet Research Lab that is highly fascinating, and like-minded students with a similar passion, I am optimistic about my start-up. It would be an honor to work with professors Dinesh Pai, Giuseppe Carneni and Cristina Conati. Dr.Conati’s paper on ‘Eye-Tracking for User Modeling in Exploratory Learning Environments: an Empirical Evaluation’ was quite inspiring as it brought to light a whole new insight in learning environments. I am confident that I have all the required skills needed to thrive in graduate school and become a part of our university’s culture and environment. I hope to meet the founders of great companies and get inspiration from their journey and have hands-on experience in the field. Our grandfather advised us to ‘Always be in the game’. INTRODUCTION Regression is one of the most important models to follow when we try our hand at prediction, be it the value of something or the predicting the decrease or increase that might take place in the future. Through this project, I am looking to make use of one such algorithm to find the market value of footballers. I chose this project as it is a combination of two things that I have the most interest in, Machine Learning & Football. This provides me with the opportunity to professionally work on something I have been a follower of since my childhood, outside the world of Tech. STEPS INVOLVED WEB SCRAPING DATA After choosing the problem that I wanted to work on, the next thing that I had to do was to find the data to work with. With the help of Web Scraping using Python BeautifulSoup, I extracted the relevant data from a website that contained player stats from the latest edition of the FIFA game series, which is the closest thing to evaluating player skills numerically. DATA CLEANSING Any project in machine learning is incomplete without the data cleansing of data, as it helps to remove the irrelevant data and gets more accurate results. The data we obtain after web scraping is in a raw form and requires a lot of cleaning before it can be used anywhere. EXPLORATORY DATA ANALYSIS After cleansing the data, the net step required me to explore, understand and show the data in a presentable form. At this step, I extracted and ranked various statistics like Most Valuable Players, Highest Rated Players, Most Valuable Clubs, Mean Value of Positions, etc. I also used this data to design Mean Value Graphs, Player Position Distribution, etc. CONSTRUCTING THE MODEL Using the Regression Models to predict continuous value, we predict the value of variable Y based on the input variable X. The linear relationship between the target and predictor is what makes it a linear regression. EVALUATING THE TEST RESULTS At this step, we evaluate the test results that we obtained and the graphs we plotted after constructing the model. After the construction of a few graphs, I decreased the number of features being used with the help of the correlation matrix. After the features were narrowed down to 7, I constructed a heatmap and a pairplot. This was then followed by the finding of the results of OLS Regression. Since, I narrowed down the number of features being used to seven, the level of clarity in the model increased considerably. In order to compare the results for Ridge, Lasso and Polynomial regression, I had to split my data into train, test and validation sets respectively. The best results are obtained at Degree 2 Polynomial Regression which is then followed by Linear Regression. Results of the Lasso Regression indicate that it was an overfitting problem, while Ridge results are identical to the ones obtained in Linear Regression. CONCLUSION Here, we take multiple assumptions(5) to compare the models and the actual results to the predicted ones. After plotting relevant graphs and getting the test results, we compare which players are the most overvalued and which players are undervalued. Finally, we predict the player’s value based on his stats and data in Fifa21.

Many of the most popular multiplayer shooters have a way to keep you with other players who match your skill level. This keeps you with players who play the same way you do, ensuring that each game is a fun and balanced experience. Fortnite also has skill-based matchmaking (SBBM), released in season X. Skill-based matchmaking in Fortnite has been an evolving mechanic for some time, occasionally causing backlash from the community. As recent as the start of Chapter Three, fans have seen the implementation of new changes to the SBMM algorithm to better pair players together. Fortnite will target your skills based on the number of eliminations, assists, revives, and more. Once it has an idea of how you play, Fortnite will put you into games with other players who have a similar skill level. The idea is that players won’t immediately lose every time they enter a match due to more skilled players. How Fortnite measures your skill depends on which mode you’re playing. If you’re playing solo, the game will pair you with other players who share a similar level. Team players are based on the skill disparity or the difference between the players’ skill levels. Since the game has cross-progression, these players can come from Xbox, PlayStation, or PC. The game can also recognize a change in skill level, such as an increased number of wins or prolonged losses in each match. As the player gets better or worse at the game, the idea is that Fortnite’s SBMM will match that. Last October, Fortnite was reportedly basing how many bots to put in each match on each squad leader, according to SportsKeeda. Unfortunately, the bots aren’t the best at the game yet, so it makes matches end pretty quickly. This ruins the competitive fun that many players return to Fortnite for by just filling some lobbies with bots. Bots aren’t included in the ranked competitive arena modes and only serve to make some of the standard battle royale matches a little easier. The bots are meant to help players improve their skill level, according to a post from Epic Games two years ago. This is the most recent update on bots that Epic has given. While the bots have likely undergone tweaks, there is no reason to believe that they’re any more advanced than when they were introduced in 2019. Matchmaking has largely remained the same too, with a player’s early games being filled with bots. But it’s possible to play with regular players in the standard modes if you can manage to get enough kills or win a few matches.
